Zax Sauce!!!

Okay so I saw an article on Zaxby's and it included the Zax Sauce Recipe... not what I thought it was.

*** This recipe was published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution Zaxby's co-founder Tony Townley took a look, saying the recipe was about half-right. Try it to see what you think!

The comments on it said it was almost perfect, I thought especially Megan & Lisa would like to have it!

Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2-1 teaspoon black pepper

Mix together the mayo, ketchup, and garlic powder, blending well. Add Worcestershire sauce and blend well. Cover the surface of sauce with lots of black pepper until just coated. Blend well. Repeat process covering surface with black pepper and stir until blended well. Refrigerate for at least two hours prior to use to allow the flavors to mingle.

:) I knew you would try it... tell me how it turns out since I haven't done it yet... although I did make baked buffalo Chicken tenders today (no breading) and it was SUPER yummy.

I, too, want the recipe for buffalo chicken tenders.

I just made this tonight to go with my free popcorn chicken from WD. It looks and tastes right...mingling in the fridge right now. I have ONE question. When the recipe reads "repeat process" does that mean just the pepper 2 times or EVERYTHING again?
Will let you know how we enjoy it. I got a late start so it will only be in the fridge about 1/2 the time it should.
Love you! :)

Lisa-Yes just the pepper is repeated :)

The Chicken tenders are so easy it is just a bag of frozen (raw) tenders, marinate them in 1/2- 1 cup of wing sauce for 1 hour and then bake in 1/4 cup of sauce and 1/2 stick of butter for 30-45 minutes or until done. Sorry it too me so long to get back to you Megan!!!
