My sister Tonya was married in August and I had the distict pleasure and honor of being in the wedding as well as taking the pictures. I love you Tonya and but I will NOT be doing that again! It was fun but also incredibly stressful! I did love being part of and capturing her day. Tonya and I were both incredibly blessed to be made family through living with my Aunt Nancy and Uncle David. David gave us both away at our weddings. He is quite happy to have finished with the giving aways :)

Eglin Airshow 2010
So much Fun! ;) Chris & I went out after church yesterday and had fun seeing all the planes and just being out there, and of course eating some junk food from the vendors. Meatball Sandwiches and a Funnel Cake. YUM. Just one of my pics I have a bunch... I am actually super far behind in editing, hopefully I will start to get caught up soon.
Have a great week everybody!

SJP Courage
How great is it that the in January I am blessed to see the sunrise on my way to work and the sunset on my way home, I just had to stop and get some pictures.
I am so thankful to God for His amazingly beautiful creation.
And this quote fits my week, so many good moments but also a lot of challenging ones with work. I am looking forward to the weekend.

:( Does anyone know of a program to uncorrupt an SD card? I have a card with some personal pics on it that I REALLY want to get back but I have been unable to get any of the programs to work. I am willing to pay if I can find a program that will really work.
I did find a program that scanned the card (and showed me the lost pictures) and said if you see them we guarantee the program will recover them. It didn't work. At least I could see them that is a great thing.
I also found a program that will recover deleted files REALLY well so if anyone ever has accidentally deleted pictures off an SD or any kind of camera memory stick/card this program works and it is FREE! Recuva. As long as the card has not been reformatted since the deletion.
I have learned much about prevention of corrupted files. One big thing is formatting your card before you use it the first time and every time you clear it.
If anyone knows of any programs I would really appreciate any information! Thanks!! :)

Quote for Today

I saw this quote and LOVED it... I thought this was a great shot to use it with.

Cousin Visit

A few weeks ago *(I am really late in posting this sorry guys!) My cousin and her family came to the area for a wedding so the trip was made over to see them. I was OH SO EXCITED!!! April & I always have a ton to talk about and we hadn't seen each other in 4 years since my grandpa's funeral. Also this was my first chance to meet her sweet daughters (her oldest wasn't with her at the funeral). We had a great dinner on Friday night at a resturant on the beach and then took some pictures and hung out on Saturday. We tried beach pictures but by the time we got down to the beach it was just TOO bright and TOO hot. Ah September in FL right! April & I hung out and even walked over to the Walmart that wasn't too far away.

Going to Walmart is a family past time btw... we had a family dinner one year at Ryans and when we were done took a family trip across the parking lot with ~20 people to Walmart. It was one of my SIL Patsy's first times meeting ALL the family and I think her first indication that we might all be a little nuts. It happens to be part of our charm.
I am SO glad I got to spend time with and take some pictures of them.

This is my first picture taken with my new camera :) Exciting stuff I know looking at a menu at good ole Ruby's. This was immediately followed by me taking a picture of the salad that I had just made at the salad bar. What it was colorful? :) Oh and I thought the title was cute so I left it.

Self Portraits
Okay so a contest challenge for one of the online photo sites is a self portrait but I am not doing well with choosing so I thought I would put it out there and see if anyone has an opinion they would like to offer. Any feedback is appreciated!

Cruisin 08
Yeah for Vacation... I just returned from a cruise to Mexico and it was such a nice time. Best part no phone or email so I couldn't work if I tried :) Seriously it was a great vacation and I would recommend a cruise to anyone. I didn't get seasick though a couple in our group did and no shelfish reactions the whole week YEAH! Here are a few pictures of the trip.
