Why is this a paradox?

Can you solve it?
There is a village where the barber shaves all those and only those who do not shave themselves. Who shaves the barber?

A riddle for the day...

?????????

There is no logical answer for this!

Does he not live in the village, only work there, and thus does not have to obey the "rule"? So it doesn't matter who shaves him, whether it be himself or someone else.

That's the only thing I can think of!

Oooh! How about this? Couldn't someone who shaves themself also shave the barber? After thought, that is my revised answer (tho' I still think the other one makes sense too!)! :)
