This cake was homemade and super yummy here is the recipe copied from Lisa's blog... if you like Reese's try it out!

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Cake

This was our first Home-Made cake.We all enjoyed it for Ryan's birthday. Thought I would share a new family favorite!

Prep: 25 minutes Bake: 30 minutes Cool: 2 hours Oven: 375

1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c peanut butter
3 tbsp butter or margarine
1/4 c semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 c all purpose flour
1 c packed brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tbsp salt
1 c milk
1/2 c peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 c butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate pieces

1. Grease the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of a 13x9x2 baking pan. Set pan aside.
2. For topping, in small bowl, stir together the 1/2 cup flour and the 1/2 c brown sugar. Using a pastry blender cut in the 1/4 c peanut butter, 3 tbsp butter and 1/4 chocolate till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the 2 c flour, the 1 c brown sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Add milk, the 1/2 c peanut butter, eggs, and the 1/2 c butter. Beat with an electric mixer on slow speed till combined. Beat on medium to high speed for 3 mins scraping bowl frequently. Add 1/2 c chocolate after you have beaten well.
4. Spoon batter into the prepared pan spreading evenly. Sprinkle with topping mixture. Bake in a 375 oven about 30 mins or until a wooden toothpick come out clean. Serve warm or cool thoroughly on a wire rack.

Recipe from Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book

**changes--I do not have a pastry blender so I simply used a spoon and mixer on low. I used a glass baking dish and served from it! I prefer self-rising flour so I omitted soda, powder and salt. I do not own a wire rack so it cooled in the dish!

Visit

Travis and Hilda (Dha) came to visit last week on their trip back after their traditional wedding ceremony in the Phillipines... it was very nice to see them (it's been over a year!)they were married in the states last year and were able to enjoy time with her family this year... how cool is that! We hung out and ate dinner and I took pictures of everyone playing animal crackers a game the Blackman's seemed to have mastered! (**Cory too!) Okay I also added some pics from E's basketball game the weekend b/4! ;) They brought me some Filipino coins as well as a bag that says "better to live in a small house" in a Filipino language. From what I understand the translation is that the small house is a home and the people who live their are happier than those who live in a big house. :) I just love catching people truly laughing :)
